GRNCM, LRAM, ARCM, LGSM, PGCE.

I studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester where I gained my 4-year graduate Diploma in vocal performance. As well as solo concert work, I performed with the William Byrd Singers, the BBC Northern Singers and gained three further Performance Diplomas from the Guildhall School of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, and the Royal College of Music.

Following graduation, I chose to combine work as a Soloist and specialist singing tutor with private clients. I also led music departments in Middle and High schools for twenty-eight years and am currently teaching one-to-one singing in several school settings.  My book, “The Voice Revealed” published in 2019 is about the transformational nature of vocalising, with a particular reference to singing.
