Singing Lessons
If you are thinking of trying singing lessons, why not try a taster session for £20. This gives both the student and teacher the chance to chat and sing and see without any pressure if further lessons would be of benefit. After this, lessons would be at a cost of £30 for 60 minutes or £15 for 30 minutes. Please feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss anything at all to do with singing and the vocal craft. Please also contact me for any assistance in other forms of vocalising including presentations, public address, street selling, teaching or issues with vocal pain, psychological and emotional blocks and vocal mechanical issues.

As for anyone, singing can be a wonderful journey of self-exploration and revelation. Looking back, my one and only tip would be to focus purely on the craft and the joy of the art, and not at all on what anyone else, bar Ashley, thinks about the outcomes. Let those simply take care of themselves.

My daughter has been having singing lessons with Ashley for a little over a year.
She loves singing but lacks confidence in performing and in her own ability.
From a parent’s point of view, we wanted her to have an outlet as she isn’t one to be able to sit and make sense of how she may be feeling. We lost 2 very close family members within 2 weeks of each other, she was finding it hard to put into words how she was feeling and just retreated within herself, so we were concerned about her mental and emotional well-being. We knew she loved singing so wanted to use that to help her.
Ashley is great with her; he encourages her to be herself and isn’t rigid within his lessons which also allows room for further expression.
She has a habit of being really self-critical and hard on herself, he deals with this excellently too. He highlights areas of growth and areas of strength.
